Welcome to my blog. Thanks for visiting.

I know it's been a couple of weeks since I've written on here. I've been distracted with school, husband, Carmen, food, and you know the rest. Here's a picture of me drinking coffee on National Coffee Day that was a few days ago, right? Of course I had to go to Starbucks to get my iced caramel macchiato. It was delicious. I usually get a cafe mocha because my father taught me well. I can't believe he's a golden member of Starbucks. All he wants for every birthday is money put on his gold card. What a great role model. I'm not saying that in a sarcastic way either. These past couple of weeks have been relaxing for Kai and I since he's not traveling for work for a little bit, but he is going to Atlanta this weekend. We've just been laying around, trying out new restaurants, taking walks at the park, and other fun things! There's this park I found that's not too far from our apartment that I'll be walking everyday just to get some exercise in. It's around a 3 mile walk and the view is amazing. Kai and I have been eating at a restaurant called Geraldine's a lot because it's so yummy and because Kai can eat pancakes any time of the day. I can't do that. I like my eggs over medium, turkey bacon, and toast. Of course everything is organic, so it all taste delicious! He's been working really hard on his new music coming out and everyone is freaking out about it. Da Rocinha 3 will be out soon and it's going to be better than 2, personally. Kai thinks 3 sounds more smooth and laid back, but I think it's one of his best. I still don't know how he can make such amazing music. He's up most nights making so much music and he'll show me in the morning or on our way to Geraldine's asking me if I like it. Every time, I say "HOW DID YOU MAKE THIS?! This is so good!" He blows my mind, seriously. Especially on some of the songs I heard from Da Rocinha 3. I actually posted a short video of my favorite song off the album on my Instagram, so check it out!

Other than these random thoughts I've been typing out, life has been really good. God keeps blessing us and I'm just happy. All I can do is put God first in our marriage and in our lives. It's the only way I can remain this peaceful because it's all about giving Him the glory for what He's given us. Staying grateful, appreciative, and focused. If anyone wants to read a good book in the bible, I recommend Jeremiah! It's my favorite book right now. It's hard to understand each verse, but I always take my time or usually ask my mom what certain verses mean. Such a young prophet called by God to spread His word. I love it.

I'll try my best to post once a week instead of every few weeks! I gotta start taking more pictures too on my camera. I'm still understanding all of the specs. I'm thinking about taking some painting classes here or anything that'll keep me busy while Kai's away working. Painting is my first choice!

These are a few of my favorite things.
