Since my obsession with anything Tolkien related is growing, I bought myself a book all about Middle Earth while I continue to read The Hobbit. It's honestly one of the best purchases I've made in my life. I know that's me over exaggerating, but it's true. There are so many cool and interesting things I never knew about all of my favorite characters. Gandalf's section is about a page and a half long and it's the best. I love him. I also love Kili and Fili and Legolas and the Ents and the Shire and yeah. I can go on and on, but I won't. Anyone who's interested in learning more about Middle Earth, buy this book! Which reminds me... I have to finish my Lego Hobbit sets that I had to deconstruct before I moved here. Kai and I put together my biggest set and it was peaceful.
If anyone hasn't seen Little Miss Sunshine... Please watch it now. It's one of my favorite movies because there is so much emotion and complications in each character. It's about a problematic family and throughout the movie, you feel like fighting for them because they can't fight for themselves. Some of them are lost, others are confused. My favorite character is Dwayne Hoover played by Paul Dano. He reminds me of myself because he gets so tired of other people quickly and decides to go on a silent treatment. He communicates with his family by writing on his note pad, which I took a picture of, "I hate everyone." What keeps the family together happily is Olive Hoover played by Abigail Breslin. The innocence of a little girl and her dream to win first place in a beauty pageant helps her family realize the importance of having goals and inspiration without making it such a hassle.
I like books and movies that make me feel different. Different is such a generic word to use, but it's true. Can I just go to New Zealand and live in Bilbo's hobbit hole? Please.
